Welcome to our website. At WRAAP, our goal is to bridge the educational and social
gaps that exist amongst our youths, families and communities. With an unstable economy,
everyday challenges that exist amongst youths and families continue to rise, and
the need for quality After-School care is in greater demand. WRAAP strives to meet
Basic Requirements:High school seniors graduating in New Hanover County, who have
been accepted for admission to a two or four-year college. Student must have demonstrated
academic excellence & the potential to let their life speak in harmony with WRAAP’s
Recipients will receive a $500.00 educational grant & serve as community based spokespersons
for our organization.

As caring citizens, we want to promote the academic & social development of our children.
Everyday challenges that exist amongst youth & families continue to rise in an unstable
economy; thereby creating the need for quality after school programs. WRAAP uses
a student-centered approach to benefit 'at risk' students by providing academic &
social enrichment. These activities are designed to improve end of grade test scores
& behavioral performances.
